Senior Years

At Goolwa Secondary College we take a comprehensive and student-centred approach with our senior years students.

As students begin their SACE journey we co-develop learner profiles for all our students which will shape their SACE pathway and destinations post school.

University and Higher Education pathways are nurtured throughout middle school and into senior school, better preparing our students for the rigor of Tertiary Education. Flexible Industry Pathways play a significant role within our senior school. Flexible Industry Pathways are designed to suit and meet student interests and needs across multiple industries. Students can undertake Certificate II and III level qualifications throughout Stage 1 (Year 11) and Stage 2 (Year 12). School Based Apprenticeships are also accessible throughout select Industry Pathways.

Our senior students are encouraged to independently drive their learning and growth through the co designing of individualised pathways. Our senior school students will graduate Goolwa Secondary College with a genuine understanding of themselves as lifelong learners and will be ready to contribute to their communities.
