Our School Curriculum

Construction of a new high school in Goolwa is underway. The new high school will open in term 1 2022, accommodating approximately 400 local students, with capacity to increase in line with anticipated growth in the area.The new school will be located at the former Investigator College site on the corner of Cadell Street and Glendale Grove in Goolwa.

Up to $10 million is being invested to refurbish and upgrade the site, to improve the school’s facilities in readiness to welcome its first students at the beginning of 2022. The new school will form part of an educational hub for the town, located near Goolwa Primary School and Children’s Centre, delivering a community asset that will support the area as it grows in the coming years. No local government schools will close when Goolwa Secondary College opens

The new high school in Goolwa was named ‘Goolwa Secondary College’ in 2021.The name was selected following consultation with the local community. We would like to thank the community for contributing to the naming process.
