Year 11 Creative Arts
Year 11 Creative Arts A+B
Course Description
In Creative Arts, students can specialise in Dance, Drama, Music, and Visual Arts, all offered within the SACE. By working in performing, visual, screen, and literary arts, students learn to blend different disciplines while respecting each one’s integrity. They create and present various art products such as musicals, plays, concerts, visual pieces, digital media, films, public arts, community performances, presentations, installations, and vocal ensembles as chosen by the students.
Studying the work of creative arts practitioners gives students a deep understanding of their roles and responsibilities. Students develop their personal aesthetic by creating and evaluating creative arts products. By analysing these products in various contexts, they appreciate how the creative arts shape intellectual, social, and cultural life.
