Year 10 Creative Arts A

Course Description

Lights, camera, action! Creative Arts A looks to get you film ready, teaching you how to write, direct, design, and act in film. The course will culminate in a short film festival. 

Topics may include:  

• Script writing 
• Film techniques 
• Acting for camera 
• Lighting and sound design 
• Costume and Make-up

Assessment:  

Creative Arts A combines Drama and Media Arts to provide a holistic Performing Arts course. The course will focus on collaborative work and individual development of skills.  

• Annotated Script 
• Production Journal 
• Short Film

Cost:

There is a cost of $30.00 for Creative Arts A to cover an excursion to a performance.

Additional Information:
*Creative Arts A and B are offered to both Year 9s and 10s and will be a mixed class. The subjects A and B will alternate each year.
